Four Season’s Hotel in Vancouver
The program consists of plenary sessions and workshops and aims to provide best practices with an emphasis on viral hepatitis, though also discussing non-viral hepatitis, fibrosis, and complications of cirrhosis. This meeting is applicable to the multi-disciplinary group that evaluates and treats liver disease which includes physicians (GI, ID, IM and family physicians), nurses, pharmacists, residents/ fellows, social workers, and technicians (e.g. fibroscan).
Based on prior evaluations, this year will be a full-day program. The BC Nurse Leaders’ program has also been integrated into the Liver Forum.
We are awaiting accreditation as a group learning activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
